Young Dog Training in Las Vegas

Give everyday training a clear starting point

A younger dog brings energy, curiosity, and plenty of opportunities to practice. Your questions may be simple: how do I get their attention, make walks easier, create consistent routines, and help everyone in the household communicate the same way?

A Heros K9's Young Dog program focuses on building a useful foundation for the life you want to share. We work with owners in Las Vegas, Summerlin, Aliante, Enterprise, Centennial Hills, and Tule Springs to develop communication, engagement, and everyday skills through a plan suited to the dog.

A foundation you can use each day

The work is about understanding your dog and creating clearer expectations together. Depending on the recommendation, priorities may include engagement, foundational walking skills, household routines, and consistent owner handling.

We want you to understand the purpose of what you practice. That makes training part of your routine and gives you useful questions to bring back as you work with your dog.

The YinYang Method combines understanding, structure, communication, and the relationship between dog and owner. Your dog's age is one part of the picture, alongside their behavior, experience, household, and goals.

Is Young Dog training the right fit?

The four-week Young Dog option is for younger dogs who qualify. Eligibility is assessed through the application and evaluation process. A different training plan may be more appropriate when the goals or behavior require it.

Include your dog's age, what life at home looks like, what is going well, and where you need help. Tell us about previous training and the adults who will participate. If there are significant reactions, bite history, or other safety concerns, include those details rather than assuming they are part of ordinary young-dog behavior.

Four weeks of foundational work

Young Dog training starts at $3,600 for four weeks. Your evaluation determines the recommended plan, schedule, and final investment.

The broader Companion System offers six weeks of structured companion training, starting at $4,800. We explain the recommendation so you can understand which commitment matches your dog and your goals. Compare the programs.

The first step is a free application. Approved applicants are invited to secure a $200 in-home evaluation lasting 90–120 minutes. During that working session, we observe, begin practical work, and discuss the direction for training.

Questions about Young Dog training

Is this a group puppy class?

The offer described here is individualized training with owner participation. It should not be confused with a drop-in group puppy class. Your application helps us understand what support your household needs.

Can you confirm eligibility from age alone?

Age is useful context, but the recommendation also depends on behavior, experience, and training goals. Include those details in the application so we can review the whole picture.

Will I need to practice between sessions?

Yes. Owners are part of the training process. The aim is to help you understand and practice the skills you will use in everyday life.

What happens after the evaluation?

We discuss the recommended plan, schedule, and investment. Your $200 evaluation fee is credited toward training when the remaining deposit is paid within 14 calendar days of the evaluation.
